We are looking to buy a catamaran before the end of the year with the following characteristics:
– Production sailing catamaran 37-40 feet (Lagoon 40, Nautitech 40, Excess 11 or 12, FP Lucia 40)
– 4 Cabin preferred but also open to 3 cabin
– Production 2019 or later
– No EU VAT paid
– Located in the Mediterranean preferably in Greece

Seaworthiness classifies whether a ship has passed the required tests and safety checks to be able to sail without any mishaps. It determines whether or not the ship has been properly assessed, outfitted and maintained in accordance with admiralty law.

What’s on a Bill of Lading?

This depends on the type of the Bill of Lading, but in general the following information should be listed on the document:

• Carrier name
• Signatures from the carrier and the ship’s Master (or legal representatives)
• Details of the goods being shipped (value, count, weight, size, markings/numbers, etc.)
• Date and indication of goods being loaded onto a vessel
• Notation of the port of loading and the port of destination
• Name of the consignee
• Terms and conditions of carriage (or a reference to these)
• Any special instructions for the shipment
